Wow! It has been a minute! Every time I go a month or so without blogging, I feel guilty. I love to write and share with you all. I believe it’s my gift from God, but sometimes, I feel like I’m not utilizing it enough. Like me, I’m sure God has given you a special gift or talent. Maybe you can sing, write, build, create, or do any number of things. While these talents were given to us, it’s our job to perfect them and multiply them, not hide them (The Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28).
What talent do you posses that you have been ignoring? What vision has God given you that you have pushed into the back of your mind? Now is the time to walk in your purpose. You know what dreams you have in your heart and what you’re passionate about. Write those dreams down. Create a vision board. Pray about them constantly. Just like a brand new skyscraper, let faith be your foundation and rebuild yourself from the ground up.
God has given me visions far beyond the desk that I’m sitting behind right now. I have made excuse after excuse of why I can’t grow my blog and expand my brand. I’m not very computer savvy. I don’t know how to build a great website, sell advertisements, or run a business nor do I have the time. Oh Lord, where do I start??? I have to remind myself, where there’s a will, there’s a way. If it’s God’s will, he WILL make a way. All I need is vision.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish”
-Proverbs 29:18
So, I’m taking time out to refocus and build myself up too. You can expect great things from my blog this year. I know I am! Until then, I’ll be under construction. ♥
Here’s a free printable to keep you focused on your vision! Click here to download it in pink or here to download it in blue.
Be blessed and beautiful!
“…and if it’s God’s will, He will make a way.” Thank you for this reminder! I share your same feelings. We got this!!!
Wow. I hope and pray God will show you all the things that he has in store for you. you words are super relatable and has a genuine feel to it. most people probably don’t want to post the negative side of their lives for the possible backlash they may receive. I have a feeling that your blog is on to something and you should definitely press on. That said keep striving! And remember… P.U.S.H.,, Pray until something happens.
